What team will you be on?
You will be part of the Exchange Traded Funds (ETF) Product Development team, which is responsible for building the trading software for ETF primary markets. We are an engineering team focused on re-architecting ETF servicing technology landscape using modern software stack.

This role is directly connected to that vision and presents a significant opportunity to have a real impact on the way we build and deliver high-scale technology software.
What will you be doing?
- Lead a team of highly talented developers to build our next-generation ETF platform.
- Collaborate with team members in a multi-office, multi-country environment.
- Deliver high efficiency, high availability, concurrent and fault tolerant software systems.
- Work with product management and business users to define the roadmap for the product.
- Design and develop innovative solutions to complex problems, identifying issues and roadblocks.
- Apply validated quality software engineering practices through all phases of development.
- Ensure resilience and stability through quality code reviews, unit, regression and user acceptance testing, dev ops and level two production support.
- Be a leader with vision and a partner in brainstorming solutions for team productivity, efficiency, guiding and motivating others.
- Drive a strong culture by bringing principles of inclusion and diversity to the team and setting the tone through specific recruiting, management actions and employee engagement.
- Candidate should be able to lead individual projects priorities, deadlines and deliverables using AGILE methodologies.
What are we looking for?
- An enterprise lead with proven experience of leading team on complex projects and initiatives. Ability to form positive relationships with partnering teams, sponsors, and user groups.
- 8-12 years of relevant experience with proven team management experience
- A proven foundation in core Java and related technologies, with OO skills and design patterns
- Track record building high quality software with design-focused and test-driven approaches.
- Good working experience in Java, Micro-services architecture, messaging technology.
- Experience with relational database and/or NoSQL Database (e.g., Apache Cassandra)
- Great analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
Nice to have and opportunities to learn:
- Knowledge of SQL, NoSQL, and cloud-based database (Snowflake) technologies.
- Experience with developing modern data pipelines using cloud-based database technologies and visualization tools like Power BI is a huge plus.
- Familiarity with scripting languages like Python.
- Familiarity with using modern DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, and version control tools like Git.
- Domain expertise in financial services and products is an added advantage.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Qualification:
- Bachelor's/Master’s degree in computer science
